Build the budget from the service agreement

Read what your pool provider includes before entering amounts. A contract may bundle labor, routine supplies or particular visits. Other work may require separate authorization. This worksheet does not assume that chemicals, repairs or electricity are included in a service price.

Use annual amounts consistently

Enter the number of visits you plan to purchase in a year and the price per visit. The service line multiplies those two inputs. Enter separate annual figures for chemicals beyond the contract, electricity and a repair reserve you choose. Use the same period across the inputs. The repair reserve is a budgeting choice, not a prediction that a certain amount of equipment will fail.

Leave missing evidence visible

A blank is unknown. Enter zero only when you intentionally exclude an item or know it is included elsewhere. If you have an annual contract rather than a per-visit price, use one planned purchase at the annual contract amount and record the arrangement in your saved project notes. This represents your contract arithmetic rather than inventing a visit rate.

Read the result

The worksheet gives a known annual subtotal and its monthly equivalent. If an item is unknown, it calls the budget partial. The monthly equivalent spreads known annual inputs across twelve months; it does not change a provider’s billing schedule. No amount is described as an observed South Florida pool-care price. Review scope changes and invoices during the year, then update the budget with the evidence you receive.

Prices are supplied by you. An unknown line leaves a partial budget; the monthly equivalent is not a contractor billing schedule.
