About Billd It
Billd It focuses on Venetian plaster and distinctive art and design installations for interior spaces. The work is associated with a range of techniques intended to create individual, art-led designs rather than a single standard look. Bill Dumchus has worked with residential, retail, and hospitality clients, as well as designers, architects, restaurants, and business owners. Projects can involve decorative plaster, an authentic art installation, or a broader design concept for an interior. A useful starting point is to identify the room or business setting, the surfaces or areas under consideration, and the visual effect you want to explore. Those details help frame a conversation about which kind of work may fit the project.

Venetian plaster
Venetian plaster is a core part of Bill Dumchus’s interior design work. It can be discussed as a decorative option for a space where the surface treatment is central to the desired look.
Art and design installations
Bill Dumchus works on unique, authentic art installations for interior spaces. The work may be relevant to residential, retail, and hospitality settings seeking an individual design feature.
Start with the space and the intended effect
For a plaster treatment or art installation, first identify the interior area you want to change and what you want people to notice or feel there. A small set of reference images can clarify whether you are drawn to a subtle surface treatment, a more expressive design, or an individual art feature. This is general preparation advice, not a description of a required project process.
Choose the kind of design work to explore
Venetian plaster and art installations are different starting points for an interior project. Plaster may be the relevant subject when the focus is a decorative surface; an installation may suit a project centered on a distinctive artwork or design feature. If you are unsure, describe the space and desired outcome before settling on a specific approach.
Prepare useful project details
Consider bringing room dimensions, photographs, notes about the surfaces involved, and any plans or design references available to you. For hospitality or retail settings, it may also help to explain how the space functions and which areas matter most to the project. These details are practical preparation suggestions, not a promise about how the provider will assess or carry out the work.
