Before arranging a roof wash
As general preparation, note the roof type if you know it and point out the areas where you see staining or growth. Ask what the soft-wash method involves for your roof and whether there are any site-specific precautions to consider. Hurriclean describes its roof washing as a mild chemical soft wash and says it does not use pressure on roofs.
Choosing a service for outdoor surfaces
Start by identifying the material and location: a driveway, patio, deck, concrete area, or pavers may call for a different project description than a roof. Mention the approximate area and what you want addressed, such as visible dirt or biological growth. This information can help make a request for an estimate more specific; it does not establish what treatment a particular surface requires.
Planning paint-related work
If the goal is a new exterior coating, distinguish preparation for painting from removing existing paint. As general planning advice, identify the surfaces involved and whether old paint is peeling or otherwise damaged. Ask which of the two services fits the intended project before scheduling work.

Business details
Services and specialties: Here at Hurriclean we offer a variety of services for both residential and commercial locations. We specialize in the Soft Washing of Roofs, using a mild chemical wash to totally remove all types of mold, fungus, and bacteria. We leave your roofs looking like the day it was installed. We also do flat work which includes driveways, patios, decks, concrete, and pavers. If its dirty we can clean it just call us. We also offer paint prepartion if painting the exterior, or complete paint removal.
Services not offered: We do not use pressure on our roof washes. Roofing manufacturers now recommend a soft wash method using chemicals to maintain your roof. High pressure cleaning actually cuts the life of your roof, each time it is done. The high pressures force water under the tiles or shingles and wet the delicate tar paper underneath causing all sort of gradual damage. It also removes the finish that comes on the tiles leaving a porous, dulled surface. At the current moment we do not offer hot water service
