About HUGHES SCREEN
HUGHES SCREEN handles rescreening and repair for screened porches and patios, along with gutter repair and replacement. Its work also includes repair and replacement of aluminum roofs and board-up service for hurricane preparation. The screen work is for porches and patios, not window screens. The business is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and offers service areas across nearby communities. For a useful project conversation, a customer can identify the structure and type of work involved, note any visible damage, and confirm that the property is within the coverage area.

Clarify the screen project
For a screened porch or patio, note whether the concern is limited to a damaged section or affects a larger area. Mention which portions need attention and whether you are considering repair or rescreening. That information can help frame a focused discussion. The screen work concerns porches and patios; window screens are not offered.
Think through gutter scope
Gutter work may involve repair or replacement, both of which are available services. Before seeking advice, note where the issue appears, what sections are affected, and whether you are asking about one area or a longer run. These details are useful for describing the job, but an inspection or provider discussion is needed to determine an appropriate scope.
Prepare details for roof or board-up work
For aluminum roof work, identify the roof material if known and describe the area that needs repair or replacement. For hurricane-preparation board-up, make a list of the openings or other areas you want to discuss. These are general preparation steps, not a statement about the provider’s project process or a promise about timing.
