Plan the finish before starting
For a room that may receive either paint or wallcovering, first identify the look you want and the surfaces involved. Gather room measurements, photos, and examples of colors or patterns you like. This preparation can help you compare options and explain the scope of a painting or wallcovering project; it is general planning advice, not a statement about a particular provider process.
Compare wallpaper with the room
A pattern can look different across a full wall than it does in a small sample. Consider the room’s lighting, existing furnishings, and how a repeat will meet at corners or around openings. Wallpaper By Wendy, Inc offers wallcovering selection assistance and sales, so a useful starting point is to bring photos and measurements when exploring the available books.
Clarify the scope of painting or removal
Before discussing painting, note whether the work is interior or exterior and which surfaces are included. For a wallcovering update, identify whether existing material needs removal and whether new wallcovering is part of the same project. These details help a customer frame the request and compare the relevant service options.
