Business description

I am a professional painter with over 15 years of experience. I take great pride in my work and guarantee excellence. Two mottos I live by are do it right or do not do it at all and being lazy ends up making you work twice as hard. The only thing that Parallels my painting is my work ethic and my customer service. I always answer my phone, I am never late and if I do not finish a project on the due date it is because I finished it earlier than expected. My experience working for high production companies taught me that proper preparation that most painters skip is what actually makes the diferencie between a good enough job and a job that blows customers away. I do not mean to brag but my clients often tell me I am the best painter they have ever seen.

Painting

Painting work with a focus on careful surface preparation. Identifying the surfaces and their current condition is a helpful first step in defining a project.

Start with the surface condition

Look over the areas you want painted and note peeling, roughness, stains, or repairs. These observations can help focus a project conversation on preparation, a step that can influence how paint adheres and how the finished surface looks.

Clarify the work before choosing details

Make a simple list of the areas to include and separate essential work from optional updates. When comparing paint options, consider the surface and how the space is used; a sample viewed in the actual room can look different from one seen under store lighting.

Make the work area easier to use

As general preparation, move breakable belongings and small furnishings away from the painting area, and leave a clear path to the surfaces involved. If larger items cannot be moved, note that in advance so you can discuss how to handle them.

What should I do before a painter starts?

Before a painting project, clear access to the areas being painted and move small or fragile items away from them. It is also helpful to note visible peeling, stains, or damaged spots so those conditions can be discussed when planning the work.

What details should I have ready when discussing painting work?

Peeling or flaking paint, rough patches, stains, and visible repairs are signs to point out before painting. The appropriate preparation depends on the surface and its condition, so noting these areas helps make the project discussion more specific.

How should I compare paint colors for a project?

Consider the room’s lighting, nearby finishes, and how you use the space when comparing colors. Looking at paint samples in the room at different times of day can help you see how the colors appear in changing light.
