Define the scope before choosing services
A landscape project can combine several kinds of work. Start by separating the main goal, such as adding planting, replacing turf, removing a tree, or improving water movement. Then note which existing features should remain. This makes it easier to discuss whether the project calls for design, installation, irrigation, drainage, grading, or a combination of services. A project estimate or proposal can be used to clarify the work being considered.
Prepare useful site details
Before discussing a project, make a simple list of the areas involved and the changes you want in each one. For planting work, identify any trees, flower beds, pots, or other features to retain. For drainage or irrigation questions, describe where water gathers or which areas need attention. These are general planning steps, not a required provider procedure.
Match the service to the outdoor project
Different landscape goals call for different work. New plants, flowers, and transplants address planting changes; sod and turf removal relate to lawn replacement; tree removal and stump grinding address tree work. Stone, rock, mulch, fountains, and water features can add landscape elements, while grading, drainage, and irrigation address site and water-related needs. Small-yard cutting is not the main focus; the work emphasizes projects.

Questions about Landscape Solutions
Can I ask about landscape design?
Yes. Landscape design is among the services. Before planning, it can help to note the areas you want changed, existing plants or features to retain, and any priorities such as new planting, irrigation, or a water feature.
Are sod installation and turf removal available?
Sod installation and turf removal are both services. Consider whether the project is limited to replacing lawn or also involves grading, irrigation, or new plantings, since those are available for separate landscape services.
Can tree removal include stump grinding?
Tree removal and stump grinding are available services. When describing the work, identify the tree and stump locations and mention nearby plants or landscape features that may also be part of the project.
Does the provider handle irrigation and drainage?
Irrigation design, installation, and maintenance are available, as are drainage installations. It is useful to explain where water collects or where irrigation changes are needed so the project discussion can focus on the relevant work.
Can I include a fountain or water feature in a landscape project?
Yes. Fountain and water feature installations are available. For an initial discussion, consider the intended location and how the feature should relate to nearby planting, stonework, or other landscape elements.
