Service is available for air-conditioning systems. When preparing to request help, record symptoms such as reduced cooling, changes in airflow, or unusual sounds.
Air-conditioning system replacement
System replacement is available for an option. New-system pricing includes rebates; ask which rebates apply and how they are reflected in a proposal.
Preparing for AC service
As general preparation, note the symptoms, when they occur, and whether they are constant or intermittent. Check whether the thermostat is set as intended and make a note of any recent changes to the equipment or the space. Keep the area around indoor and outdoor equipment accessible if it is safe to do so; avoid opening equipment panels or handling electrical components.
Thinking through replacement
Before comparing replacement options, consider comfort needs in different rooms, recurring repair concerns, and how long you expect to use the system. General questions to raise include whether equipment capacity suits the space, what the proposed work includes, and what maintenance the system may need. Comparing itemized proposals can make differences easier to understand.
Clarifying rebate details
For a new-system proposal, ask which rebates are included, what equipment or other conditions they apply to, and whether the amount reflects them already. Keep a copy of the itemized proposal so you can compare the equipment and included work along with the final pricing.

Questions about AA American Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Inc
What information is useful when requesting air-conditioning service?
Note whether the system is blowing warm air, cycling often, making a new noise, or showing a change in airflow. Sharing when the issue began and any recent changes can help focus an AC service visit. These observations do not identify the cause on their own.
What should I consider before replacing an air-conditioning system?
A replacement decision can take the system’s age and repair history, comfort issues, and energy use into account. It is also useful to discuss the size and layout of the space and any changes to how the home is used, since those details may affect equipment choices.
How can I understand rebates in new-system pricing?
Ask for a clear breakdown of the proposed system and what the quoted amount includes. New-system pricing includes rebates, so ask which rebates apply to the specific equipment and how they are reflected in the amount presented.
How can I check whether my address is in the service area?
The coverage includes Delray Beach and nearby communities such as Boca Raton, Lake Worth, and Boynton Beach. Compare the service address with the coverage ZIP codes to check whether it falls within the area.
Common industry questions
What does HVAC mean?
HVAC stands for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. These systems manage indoor temperature and air movement.
What is a heat pump?
A heat pump moves heat between locations. Depending on the system, it can provide both heating and cooling.
How do repair and maintenance differ?
Repair addresses an existing problem. Maintenance is periodic care intended to keep equipment operating effectively. The tasks included depend on the service agreement.
