Business description
Heritage is a locally owned and operated business offering flooring, window treatments, bath accessories, and natural stone to residential builders and home owners in South Florida. Established in 1984, this family business has more than 25 years’ experience providing quality products and services to the community. We have no commissioned salespeople, allowing us to maintain lower costs than our competitors. And because of our relationships with many of the home builders in South Florida, we like to take extra care of their home buyers as well. We are so passionate about flooring, and having worked with the builder of your home, you’ll feel as though an old friend is helping you through the process of renovating your home or preparing it for sale. As such, you will be working with the Owners Brian & Randy Smith as well as our dedicated team, many of whom have been with us for more than fifteen years. Heritage is a Certified General Contractor; license #CGC1511427. We carry the necessary insurance to fit all our builders’ needs. We have appropriate Occupational licenses for Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, Palm Beach, Broward and Dade County.
Services

Flooring supply and installation
Flooring options include ceramic and porcelain tile, carpet, engineered wood and natural stone. Heritage supplies and installs flooring; the service information excludes labor-only work and installation of materials purchased elsewhere.
Window treatments
Window treatments are offered alongside flooring and other interior finishes. Consider privacy, light and how a selection will coordinate with the room’s colors and materials.
Shower enclosures and bath accessories
Shower enclosures and bath accessories are included among the available home products. They may be considered as part of a broader bathroom finish selection.
Natural stone
Natural stone is available as a product option for residential projects. Consider how its appearance will coordinate with the other surfaces and finishes in the space.
Start with the room and its purpose
Before comparing samples, decide what the room needs to do. A busy entry, a quiet bedroom and a bathroom may call for different priorities in appearance and day-to-day use. Write down which qualities matter most, such as a particular look, a softer surface or a finish that works with nearby rooms. Then compare the available flooring materials against those priorities rather than choosing from color alone. This is general planning advice, not a description of a required Heritage process.
Coordinate the full finish selection
Flooring, natural stone, bath accessories, shower enclosures and window treatments can all affect how a room comes together. It may help to collect photos of existing cabinets, wall colors and fixtures before narrowing choices. For a bathroom, consider how the floor and enclosure will relate to the other visible surfaces. For rooms with windows, think about privacy and light as well as color. These comparisons can make it easier to identify which products need to be considered together.
Clarify what the installation includes
Heritage supplies and installs flooring and other products. The service information says it does not take labor-only jobs or install materials that were purchased elsewhere. It can remove existing flooring when replacing it with a new floor purchased through the business. Before planning around removal or installation, identify what materials you want to use and ask whether the work you have in mind fits these limits.
