AT A GLANCE

About Palm Beach Finance & Construction Group Inc

Palm Beach Finance & Construction Group Inc is a general contractor serving residential renovation and remodeling projects. Its work includes water damage and mold remediation connected with insurance claims, along with kitchen, bathroom, and sunroom remodels, additions, and painting. The business says it considers projects of different sizes, including work on older homes. For a project involving damage, remodeling, or an addition, it can help to define the affected areas and the desired outcome before discussing the scope. For insurance-related work, homeowners may find it useful to gather claim documents and photographs of the damage. For renovation planning, note which rooms or features need attention and which changes are essential. These are general preparation suggestions, not a description of a required company process.

Preparing for water damage or mold work

For a damage-related project, start by noting the areas affected and the changes you have observed. If the work involves an insurance claim, keep relevant claim documents together and collect photographs that show the damage. A written list of questions can help you distinguish the immediate remediation needs from any later repair or renovation work. These are general ways to prepare; the specific scope depends on the property and the project.

Setting a remodeling scope

For a kitchen, bathroom, or sunroom remodel, identify the main purpose of the changes before comparing possible layouts or finishes. Separate must-have improvements from optional ones, and note any existing features that should remain. This gives you a clearer starting point for discussing the intended scope without assuming that every desired change is part of the same project.

Thinking through additions and painting

For an addition, consider how the new space will be used and how it should relate to the existing home. For painting, make a list of the rooms or surfaces you want included and note whether the work is connected to a renovation. These details can help make a project discussion more specific. The company describes work on both older and more recent homes, so share relevant information about the property's age or features when outlining the project.
