Services

Listed services: Plumbing, Flooring, Painting, Other / Unclassified.

Explore the services below and confirm the scope of your project directly with the provider.

Preventive and wellness care

Preventive medicine, wellness exams, vaccinations, and microchipping are among the services. These options support routine conversations about a pet’s health needs.

Diagnostics and imaging

Diagnostic services include laboratory facilities, radiology, ultrasound, and other imaging options. These services may be relevant when a veterinarian is evaluating a health concern.

Surgery and specialty care

Services include soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, and trauma care. Ask which service best fits the concern and what preparation or follow-up may be involved.

Emergency veterinary services

Emergency services are available, as is trauma care. For an urgent situation, contact the hospital directly to discuss the pet’s condition and next steps.

Dental, boarding, and grooming services

Dental care, pet boarding, and grooming are available. Pet owners can ask about the details relevant to their animal and needs.

Preparing for a veterinary visit

Before an appointment, write down what has changed and when you first noticed it. Include details such as eating, drinking, sleep, mobility, and any new symptoms. Bring a current medication list and relevant prior records if you have them. For a preventive visit, note questions about vaccinations, microchipping, parasite control, or wellness exams so the conversation can address the topics most relevant to your pet.

Choosing what to ask about

A symptom does not always point to one particular test or treatment. If you are considering diagnostic care, ask what a proposed laboratory test or imaging study is intended to clarify and what information it may provide. For dental, internal medicine, or surgical concerns, describe your pet’s history and ask about relevant options, preparation, and follow-up. These are useful questions for any veterinary discussion, not a statement about a particular appointment process.

When a concern feels urgent

Emergency services and trauma care are among the hospital’s offerings. If you believe your pet needs urgent attention, contact the hospital promptly and explain the symptoms and timing. Keep routine items such as records or medication packaging handy only if doing so will not delay care. For non-urgent concerns, a concise symptom timeline can help make a veterinary conversation more focused.

Questions about VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital
