Business description
A full service Interior Design firm specializing in residential design. We offer a variety of ways to work together, including full service on new home construction, renovations, additions, or simply to update your decor/furnishings. We work closely with a number of builders, yet we also have the option available for you to hire your own contractors. This works when a client is looking for guidance in the interior architectural details and materials, yet does not need the full servicing as they already have hired their architects and/or builders. Depending on the job scope, we also offer hourly contracts as well as commission scale contracts. Coming fall of 2017, we will also be hosting wine and design nights in the arts district of Delray Beach, as well as design workshops that are both fun and useful for you do it yourselfers. It also provides another option to plan for a girls night out! (Guys welcome too of course!) We are also participants in the Delray Beach art walk which is every first Friday of every month. Come get to know us! See what fun items we have in our place! And talk with our designers as well as special guests throughout the season. Stay tuned! Prepare for a design conversation
As general preparation, gather a few room measurements, photos, and a short list of what is and is not working in the space. For a renovation or addition, note which walls, fixtures, or finishes are changing and which decisions have already been made. This can make it easier to distinguish design questions from construction tasks.
Choose the level of support that fits
A project may call for a broad design scope, such as support for new construction or a renovation, or a narrower one focused on interior architectural details and materials. If you have already hired an architect or builder, prepare a summary of their responsibilities and the design decisions where you still want guidance. The firm describes hourly and commission-scale contract options depending on project scope.
Organize finish and furnishing choices
For material selection, make a list of the items involved, such as flooring, lighting, tile, wall finishes, or plumbing fixtures. For a furnishings update, collect preferred colors, fabric examples, and dimensions of pieces that will remain. These are general planning suggestions, not a statement about the firm's required process.

Questions about Sarin Design
Can Sarin Design help with a new-home construction project?
Yes. Sarin Design offers interior design for new-home construction, as well as floor plans, space planning, and selection of architectural materials. Before beginning, it can help to identify who is responsible for each design and construction decision.
Can I get design guidance if I already have a contractor?
The firm describes design support for renovations and additions, including interior architectural details and materials. A useful first step is to list the spaces changing, the decisions still open, and whether you already have an architect or contractor.
Does Sarin Design take on smaller decor or furnishing updates?
Yes. Updating decor and furnishings is among the ways the firm describes working with clients. Bringing measurements and examples of furniture, colors, or fabrics you want to keep can help clarify what the refresh needs to address.
What kinds of interior materials can the firm help select?
The firm offers selection of flooring, lighting, wall finishes, ceiling details, tiles, and plumbing fixtures as part of its architectural material work. For a project discussion, note which selections are needed and any decisions already made so the remaining design scope is clear.
