About Repairs Plus

Repairs Plus handles painting, HVAC work and a range of home maintenance, repair and improvement projects in Fort Lauderdale and other South Florida communities. The project types include interior and exterior painting, wallpaper removal, tile, window treatments, carpentry, closets, shelving, cabinets, countertops and furniture refinishing. Work may involve indoor or outdoor areas. The owner’s background includes home and boat ownership, building homes and overseeing a large renovation with a sizable contractor team. For larger projects, additional subcontractors may be available. The range of possible work varies, so sharing the project details is a useful first step when deciding whether the requested task is a fit.

Business description

I have been a home and boat owner, built my own homes, overseen large projects with a team of 80+ contractors in a $3 Million renovation, owned and operated several businesses over 3 decades. I am committed to excellence in reliability, being on time, organization, logistics, keeping and leaving your home and the workspace clean and tidy. Repair Plus was created out of a vision for providing quality service and professionalism. I have other reliable subcontractors available for larger projects. Introductory flat daily rates are available until September 30th for Broward County. Inquire about Miami/Date and Palm Beach.

Services

Listed services: Painting, HVAC.

Explore the services below and confirm the scope of your project directly with the provider.

HVAC

HVAC work is included among the services. The specific types of HVAC projects are not detailed, so describe the system and the work you are considering.

Interior and exterior painting

Painting is offered for indoor and outdoor projects.

Home repair and maintenance

General handyman maintenance and repair includes a range of tasks, such as work involving window treatments, tile, shelving, closets and wallpaper removal.

Cabinets, countertops and carpentry

The project types include cabinets, countertops and carpentry. Describe the item or area and the changes needed to explain the scope.

Furniture refinishing

Furniture refinishing is included among the offered project types. The piece and the desired finish help clarify what the project involves.

Prepare a clear project outline

Before discussing a repair or improvement, note which areas are involved, what you want changed and any work already completed. Photos, approximate measurements and a short list of priorities can help explain the scope. For painting, include whether the work is indoors or outdoors and whether wallpaper removal or other surface preparation is relevant. For cabinets, countertops, tile or carpentry, identify the pieces or surfaces you want addressed.

Separate must-haves from optional work

When a project combines tasks such as shelving, closet work, painting and window treatments, group them by location and rank them by importance. This makes it easier to discuss which tasks belong together and what can wait. For larger projects, describe the overall scope as well as individual tasks, since additional subcontractors may be available for some larger work.

Clarify the work before choosing a service

The service list includes HVAC and painting, alongside varied home repair and maintenance work. If the project is not a straightforward match for a named task, explain the desired result and ask whether it fits. For HVAC, describe the system and concern; for furniture refinishing, note the item's condition and the finish you have in mind. These details are useful preparation, not a promise about how any particular project will be handled.
