Prepare for a cabinetry project
As a general planning step, measure the room and note doorways, windows, appliances, plumbing fixtures, and other elements that may affect cabinet placement. Make a list of storage priorities, such as drawers, shelves, or space for larger items. For a custom design, having these details ready can make it easier to compare layout ideas and understand what the 3D design should show.
Think through connected work
Cabinet installation, plumbing, and electrical work can affect the same room, so it is useful to identify the full scope early. Note which fixtures, outlets, or other elements may need attention, and separate those needs from the cabinet design itself. This is general project-planning advice, not a promise about the provider's process or the order in which work will be done.
